How to hang your Frames / Gallery Wall

Hanging frames may seem easy and simple, but there is a basic rule to follow to make the layout easy on the eyes.

One simple rule:

- AXIS. This will create order and harmony on your arrangement. This invisible line can be positioned in many ways.

 

Horizontal and in the middle.

 

On the bottom.

 

On the staircase you should have the same height each step upwards.

 

And for more symmetry, follow borders of the furniture below. In this case, the bed frame.

Extra tip:

Stick pieces of paper on the wall before making holes on it! What I did with my room (because I didn’t know about this trick) was make the layout on the floor, took a picture and then marked where the holes for the nails would go. It wasn’t so easy. DIY Glass / Bottle lamp

Have you already seen these kind of lamps? They’ve been for a while on the market. They’re beautiful but the price of them isn't. Why pay so much for something you can do yourself? I mean, it isn't that hard to do.

 

 

PRICE:

Hey, seriously, would you pay this much for a lamp probably you can do by yourself? I know I wouldn’t!

I keep on finding this amazing DIY’s and I WANT TO DO IT MYSELF! But, I have no where to put it. I live in a room. I don’t have my living room. I don’t have my nursery. I don’t have my kitchen. I don’t have my foyer. So, I keep on dreaming about doing them and maybe giving them as presents or selling them? I don’t know.

DIY Nature inspired Art Wall

My DIY WALL ART post inspired me to do something myself! So I did this set of two frames for my hubby’s cousin's girlfriend :)

It might be something very simple, but I absolutely loved the result! All though I was stressing out at the beginning because I put too much pressure on my self to have everything perfect. I new it would come out nice, but I just worry in vane.

I bought 2 blank 80 x 60 cm and some black and white-beige rope. And added dry leaves! Even thought it’s not Autumn at all, I found them. I’ve always loved that season because of its warm and neutral colors!

I was also thinking on putting birds instead of leaves and have it look like birds standing on those telephone cables.. but I thought it would be a bit girly for her boyfriend… so I went for the leaves.
