When it comes to kids rooms.. i think ALL PINK is a big "NO-NO". I mean: pink walls, pink blanket and pillows, and a pink carpet? I don't care if you add a white curtains.. it's still too much. Ok. I have nothing against pink (look at the pic above. from Ashley Ann's blog) but it's good to have some contrast too.
Maybe White walls and pink decorations? Its also a good idea to choose a statement object for the room. For example, a lamp. A very colorful and big lamp. And make everything else go in harmony with it, but without taking its hierarchy away. Just like with fashion: a nice simple dress and a big statement necklace. Don't add huge earrings on. Don't take the attention away from the main point.
